Director of Operations
ELOCIN HOUSE is seeking to hire a Director of Operations (DO) to oversee a site-
level residential care facility. The DO will be responsible for the day-to-day
management of the site's operations and program performance. The DO serves as
the Administrator and Director of their assigned facility. Administrator /Director
must be at least 18 years of age, be on the premises the number of hours necessary
to manage and administer the program of the facility in compliance with regulations
and demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision
needed by residents, including the ability to communicate with such
residents.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with with applicable law and regulation.
- Ability to maintain, or supervise the maintenance of, financial and other records.
- Ability to direct the work of others, when applicable.
- Ability to establish the facility's policy, program, and budget.
- Ability to recruit, employ, train, and evaluate qualified staff, and to terminate
employment of staff, if applicable to the facility.
Duties:

Financial
- Responsible for meeting monthly budget targets.
- Manage labor (adherence to labor model) and other variable expenses.
- Participates in weekly & monthly executive leadership team meetings.
Human Resources
- Oversees hiring, performance management, and job leveling for site-level
positions.
- Provide supervision, support and coaching to employees.
- Management activities include (but are not limited to):
- » Interviewing, hiring, goal development, onboarding and ensuring
continuous training requirements and compliance items are met.
- » Meetings to discuss successes, challenges, new projects, innovations,
company changes, etc.
- » Work with Maintenance and Housekeeping to coordinate move-ins and
move-outs.
- » Complete performance reviews for employees within company
designated timeframes.
- » Maintain employees' timecards in the payroll system, ensuring the
correct hours are accounted for, overtime is managed, and paid-time
off requests are promptly addressed.
- » Ensures resolution of complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions
at the site-level.
- » Optimizes employee engagement, retention, and turnover at the site-
level.
- » Ensure site-level teams are onboarded and trained effectively.
- » Development of an administrative plan and procedures to define lines
of responsibility, workloads, and staff supervision.
- » Recruitment, employment, and training of qualified staff, and
termination of staff.
Sales
- Establish and maintain relationships with key referral sources to drive
occupancy and revenue growth.
- Conduct tours of the facility and effectively communicate the value
proposition to potential residents and their families. labor (adherence to labor model) and other variable expenses.
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure the facility is meeting all
regulatory requirements.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up to date on trends
and best practices.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure resident satisfaction and
retention.
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the facility and its
services.
- Plan and manage sales and marketing budget within approved guidelines
and according to Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of local competition by performing periodic visits to
update competitive analysis document. Advise ED of major market
changes to competitive set.
- Develop and enhance facility’s image and reputation through appropriate
public relations activities.
- Finalize all Applications for Residency for approval by the ED utilizing the
Resident Selection Criteria set forth by the Company.
- Develop annual marketing and media plans and perform quarterly
reviews, updates, and modifications to the plans.
- Plan, host and attend purposeful marketing events.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- As the designated Director and Administrator, the DO must:
- » Complete Administrator certification and continuing education per year
» Complete First Aid Training (First Aid Certificate)
» Criminal Background Check
General Skill and Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
The ideal candidate will posses the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business, nursing or similar
- At least two (2) years of full-time work experience in a facility program that serves clients who have a mental illness. Such experience must be in the direct provision of services to clients, of which one (1) year must be in the position of supervising direct car staff.
- At least one (1) year in a management or administration position.

- Perform other assignments and duties, as required.
- BONUS OPPORTUNITY:
Prospective employees hired for a Full-Time Director position will receive two
conditional bonuses. New employee will receive the first bonus after the completion
of 90 calendar days of employment. The second bonus will be awarded after
completion of 180 calendar days of employment. Bonus will be contingent upon
attendance and professionalism.
